– has hosted and introduced overseas groups to our area
- Human Development Committee
– annual handicapped children’s Christmas party
- Infant Immunization Committee
– provided for a student nurse to immunize area school children
- Literacy Committee
– provided dictionaries to all 1,400 plus 3 rd graders in the area and promotes four-way test speaking competition and awards.
- Youth Exchange (inbound) Committee
– hosts an overseas student in a local school and area events for 9 months.
- Youth Exchange (outbound) Committee
– arranges for the presentation of the Phoenix awards to seven area graduating high school seniors.
- Rural/Urban Committee
– arranges an annual agricultural appreciation day, usually at the local county fair, and the purchase of a student-raised farm animal.
- Carr Center
– usually supported through the annual purchase of a cake at their cake auction.
